Muhammad Umair Khan OD
Dr. Muhammed Umair Khan is an optometrist who provides primary eye care with a keen interest in ocular disease, contact lenses, and personalized care to his patients. Dr. Khan completed his Doctor of Optometry from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), School of Optometry with honors. He is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa honors society. Dr. Khan completed his undergraduate education with honors at North Carolina State University in Microbiology with a concentration
in medicine and optometry.
Dr. Khan served as an administrator on board of VOSH International, a non-profit organization that helps deliver eyecare to those less fortunate. He is a past-president of the SVOSH chapter at MCPHS University. Dr. Khan led eye care mission trips to San Juan del Sur,
Nicaragua with VOSH-CT and to Moshi, Tanzania with Artists for World Peace. Professionally, he is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and the California Board of Optometry.
While away from the clinic, Dr. Khan enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Huma, who is a family nurse practitioner and their two daughters Zoya and Zara. Together they look forward to traveling the world exploring different regions, food, and culture.
